BMI opens new branch in Budaiya
BMI 06 February 2007... BMI inaugurated its fourth full-service branch today at an official opening ceremony conducted by Yousif Hasan Yousif, Director Retail Banking and Supervision Directorate at the Central Bank of Bahrain in the presence of Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of BMI, and Abbas Al Derazi, General Manager of BMI, as well as other bank officials, guests and media.
The new branch, located at Budaiya road, will be the first of BMI’s branches to operate on Saturdays for its customers.
Mr. Yousif Hasan Yousif said:
“We are delighted with the opening of BMI’s full service branch in Budaiya and will continue to extend our full support to the bank’s future endeavours. This new branch is a reflection of Bahrain’s prudent regulatory environment which promotes the continued growth and development of the banking and financial sector.”
Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of BMI said:
“Today we celebrate another milestone with the launch of our latest branch, as this - along with our ATM network – expands our retail banking offer in the Kingdom in line with our business strategy. The Budaiya branch is BMI’s fourth branch in the Kingdom. Customers can take advantage of the bank’s services Saturday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 4:00pm to 6:00pm. In addition, cash withdrawals as well as deposits, fund transfers and a host of other new services are also available 24 hours a day through an ATM machine, which complements the latest branch.
