BMI holds training on Anti Money Laundering

BMI 13 September 2007...  BMI today announced the successful completion of its annual Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Terrorist Financing (CFT) course scheduled for its entire staff. The course was conducted by Hussam Al Abed, a leading AML consultant and Mrs. Nafeesa Al Balushi -General Manager of the Bahrain Financial Services Training Centre (BFST).

The annual course, held over three days, covered various basic and advance levels of AML including customer due diligence basics, detecting and reporting suspicious transactions, latest trends and recent cases as well as the Central Bank of Bahrain’s guidelines on AML & CFT
