BMI Bank announces extended branch opening hours

Bahrain based BMI Bank, an associate of BankMuscat, today announced that it had extended opening hours for branches as part of its commitment to making banking more convenient, centred around customers’ needs. The extended hours include Ramez branch in Riffa and Al Helli branch in Tubli which will open straight from 8 am – 8 pm while the others, including the main branch in Manama and East Riffa, will open later into the evening. Customers will be able to carry out all their banking transactions, from paying bills, opening an account and purchasing an Al Mazyona saving certificate to discussing banking needs with experienced customer service agents at these branches.

Commenting on the new timings, Andrew Bainbridge, Chief Executive Officer of BMI said:

“I am delighted that our new banking hours make banking easier for our customers. The new timings recognize our customers’ busy schedules as many people find it difficult visiting us during regular hours. Two of our branches (at Ramez in Riffa and Al Helli in Tubli) will now be open right through the day until 8:00 pm providing customers with the flexibility and convenience to carry out their banking transactions even after office hours. At BMI we seek to make it easy for our customers to do business with us.”

BMI Bank currently operates in Bahrain through a retail network of 8 branches and 25 ATMs with net banking for easy access to services. The online platforms offered by BMI were recently awarded the prestigious Bahrain e-Content Award 2009 in the e-Banking category, recognizing ease of use of its comprehensive e-banking services in a safe and secure environment.
