BMI BANK AWARDED BAHRAIN eCONTENT AWARD 2009

Bahrain based BMI Bank, an associate of BankMuscat, today announced that it had received the Bahrain eContent Award 2009 in the e-banking category during the Bahrain eContent Awards ceremony held at Sheraton Hotel, Manama on Sunday 15th March 2009 under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa , Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology.

Receiving the award, Andrew Bainbridge, Chief Executive Officer of BMI said:

Bahrain eContent Award is organized by the eGovernment Authority, Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Bahrain Internet Society which is inspired by the World Summit Award – WSA. WSA started in 2003 as a contribution of the Austrian Government to promote the world’s best e-content and innovative ICT applications.
