In coordination with BMI Bank, American Mission Hospital has conducted the 5th and final of their Community related events at the Manama Social Center. Nursing staff did routine checks for BMI, blood sugar and height and weight and more than 200 people were given general check up’s to diagnose chronic medical conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Salwa Fadhul, AMH In-Service Coordinator presented a lecture on Diabetes.

With education about these chronic diseases such as Diabetes, we are striving to keep the community of Bahrain healthy and conscious of the risks they take in day to day living. We are grateful for their efforts in helping make the people aware of these diseases.”
